THINKING IN COLOR
A Painting Workshop Series with Will Sieruta
Over five sessions we will explore the basics of Color Theory, introduce the fundamentals of Color Mixing, and focus on how the nuances of hue, saturation, and value can improve your painting facility and add new options to your painter’s toolbox. Some materials provided, you can also bring your own. By donation.

Women Creating, Day into Night
A day-long retreat led by Dale Schwarz for women who want to express their creativity through writing. This workshop allows participants to explore and reconnect with their creative passion in a community of like-minded women. Previous art experience is not needed, just a willingness to discover and explore. Materials, guidance, support and coaching will be provided. Autumn date TBA.

Botanical Printing: on paper and-or cloth. Intimate, half-day workshops held in the Spring and Fall for individuals age 16 and older who enjoy attention to detail: we document plants using inks on paper, and (organic) dyes and foliage on fabric. Tools and materials are provided. Previous art experience is helpful but not required. Loom Weaving and Fiber Arts: One-on-one instruction by the hour on your loom or LCA’s. Spinning, sewing, altering, mending, fabric painting and more, enabling you to create new textiles and re-purpose existing ones for personal use and as a way to help others. Leonore Alaniz teaches with enthusiasm a wealth of artisanal skills on a paid or skill-share basis that fosters the emerging fibershed.org movement and Maker Economy in Massachusetts and beyond.
